01Overview

A home for the portfolio

Studio80s is a photography and videography studio. They needed an online space that shows off their portfolio and their care for capturing important moments. I designed the website in Figma and built it in Framer, start to finish.

02Design

Let the work lead

Together with the studio's team, I pinned down what the brand stands for: professionalism, creativity and attention to detail. The design is minimalist and sleek, so the photos and films stay the focus.

The hero is a video. The portfolio grid mixes photos and videos. In the services section, hovering over a service reveals a sample recording of it. In Figma I shaped the interface so services, portfolio and contact details are all easy to find.

03Build

Designed and built in Framer

I built the design in Framer as a responsive site that loads fast and has interactive touches to hold the attention of potential clients.

I stayed in regular contact with the studio's team, sharing updates and folding their feedback into the design along the way.

04Outcome

A digital storefront

The launch gave Studio80s a digital storefront that reflects the quality of its work, a stronger online presence, and a platform for showing its projects.

Nomad Summit

From a website nobody touched to one that sells the tickets.

A 250-person annual conference whose website broke every time someone tried to update it, so nobody did. Six weeks later the team could change tickets, speakers and sponsors themselves, and tickets for the next edition were selling before a single speaker was announced.
