Alexandra Mosnitska, brand and web designer

Hi, I’m Alexandra.

Dear founder,

I studied business and then worked in marketing, and the first thing I noticed wasn’t in any textbook. People make up their minds about a company in a few seconds, mostly from how it looks.

I watched good companies lose out to ones that just looked more put together, and it always felt a little unfair to me.

So that’s what I care about now. When someone finds your business, I want what they see to feel as good as what you’ve built.

Speak soon,

Alexandra

It started with The Sims.

I was twelve, editing screenshots from the game in Photoshop for fun. I didn’t know it was called design, and I definitely didn’t know it could be a job. About ten years later, it was.

In between, I studied international business management in Portugal, then added a strategic marketing qualification from the Chartered Institute of Marketing. That shaped how I design more than any design course could have.

From business school to head of brand.

I came to design through business, not art school. So before I pick a colour or a typeface, I want to know what the design needs to do for your company.

I know what it’s like to wait on deliverables and need a website that just works. And years in rooms full of founders taught me most of what I know about why people trust a business.

I also speak about branding and trust at events.
